Plastic Bottles Ban Lifted from Utah’s National Parks. Who Says Trump is Getting Nothing Done?

Draining the swamp? Looks like Trump got rid of the alligators and brought in snakes. Eight years ago, due to serious litter issues, plastic water bottle sales were banned from National Parks. Last week, the Trump administration welcomed the plastic back to our most sacred places.

Leading the decision was Interior Deputy Secretary David Bernhardt, a former lobbyist for the Swiss Company Nestlé Waters, one of the largest water bottlers in the USA.

Bernhardt served under George W. Bush, then lobbied and is now back in government as the 'CEO' of the Interior Department. Do you suppose he will be back in the revolving door as a lobbyist once he leaves the Trump Administration?

BTW, the average time for a plastic bottle to completely degrade is at least 450 years. It can even take some bottles 1000 years to biodegrade! 90% of bottles aren’t recycled. Bottles made with Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET or PETE) will never biodegrade.
